In order to earn a degree, you must be formally admitted into a degree program (“matriculated”) either through UMass Amherst or through Continuing & Professional Education.

Undergraduate degree programs offered through Continuing & Professional Education:

• Bachelor of General Studies (BGS)
  • BGS with Individual Concentration (BGS-IC)
  • BGS/Fire Science
• Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management (Online)
• Nursing:
  • RN to BS in Nursing (Online)
  • Second Bachelor’s Track
• Bachelor of Business Administration (Online)
• University Without Walls

Admissions standards: Continuing & Professional Education degree program standards are identical to those of the UMass Amherst Transfer Admissions Office.

Your application must include official transcripts from all colleges and universities you’ve attended (whether or not you’re seeking credit for classes you’ve taken) and the application fee. Please see the application for additional requirements.
