COLLEGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE ENVIRONMENT Department of Plant, Soil, and Insect Sciences International Winter School for Turf Managers Our internationally renowned International Winter School for Turf Managers, founded in 1927, was the first school of its kind and remains a top source for turf industry professionals. The program’s goal is to furnish turf managers with the concepts essential to maintaining high quality turf, while instilling a sense of environmental stewardship and fiscal responsibility.
