CONTINUING & PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION Conservation Law Enforcement Training Program One of only nine programs of its kind approved by the National Park Service, this nationally recognized part-time training prepares you for a career protecting the environment in national parks and other recreation areas. Continue working while attending weekend classes and short-term field-based residencies that build skills in interrogation, investigation, the use of firearms, and other critical law enforcement techniques. Enjoy the support of like-minded colleagues and the hands-on guidance of enthusiastic instructors — UMass Amherst professors and seasoned law enforcement professionals — as you join our highly sought-after alumni with positions at state and national parks, the Massachusetts Environmental Police, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Forest Service and other environmental agencies throughout the country. Schedule: All classes meet from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - September to March: Saturdays and Sundays
