DEPARTMENT OF NUTRITIONDietetic Internship ProgramThe need for experienced, highly trained dietitians is growing rapidly as concerns about obesity, chronic disease, and an aging population move to the forefront of our national agenda. This 11-month training prepares you for a career as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by giving you the academic grounding and supervised, hands-on internship experience you need to qualify for the national RD exam. Spend 24 hours each week at a variety of health care facilities and other organizations, gaining practical skills in nutritional care, food service management, and community nutrition activities, then get together with your classmates for seminars and networking under the guidance of our world-class faculty.
