Program Details Degree: UWW students earn a UMass Amherst bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) with a UWW major and a specific area of concentration. Credit: Credits can be earned through: - Courses completed at other colleges (up to 75 transfer credits)
- Courses completed at UMass Amherst
- Prior learning and experience
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests
- Special transcript evaluation of college-level learning completed in non-college settings
- Military training
Financial aid: UWW students are eligible for financial aid under the same guidelines as other UMass Amherst students. Students with early childhood work experience or those who work as elementary paraprofessionals may also be eligible for grants through the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA).
