Adult Individualized Concentrations UNIVERSITY WITHOUT WALLS UWW enables working adults to complete their undergraduate degree at UMass Amherst. It’s appropriate for most students whose areas of interest focus on work in for-profit or nonprofit organizations, including organizations in the fields of health care, human services, education, journalism, volunteerism, environmental studies, sports studies, advocacy, arts management, business and related fields. Choose from live, online and blended (online and live) interdisciplinary courses that serve as the basis for specialized courses in your area of interest. Foundation courses focus on critical thinking, writing, organizational life, technology, leadership and public policy. Combine learning from experience, prior courses, and future coursework in an area of concentration of your choice that reflects your interests, background and future education or work goals.
