Click here if you are ready to enroll in a Continuing & Professional Education class. We make it easy to register for Continuing & Professional Education classes. Just click on one of the following choices for step-by-step instructions: ONLINE SPIRE MAIL FAX TELEPHONE IN-PERSON Using a tuition waiverTuition waivers are not accepted online or over the phone. If you’re using a tuition waiver, you must register in person, by mail, or by fax and submit a tuition remission form with your registration. For more information, click here. Additional Registration InformationRegistrations are processed during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). If there’s any problem with your registration request, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail. Information for confirming your registration is available at Registration Confirmation. No registration confirmation will be sent through the mail. First-time students: You’ll receive information about your UMail (UMass e-mail) and student information system (SPIRE) accounts within a few days of registration. This information will be sent to the e-mail address you provided at registration in two emails. You’ll need to activate your UMail account using the NetID and temporary password provided in these emails. Your student number (SPIRE ID) will also be included in the emails. All future communication about your class will be sent to your UMail account. Failure to activate your UMail account will result in a hold being put on your record. This hold will prevent future enrollments in all UMass Amherst classes. Please use your UMail account for all communication with the university, as we will not be able to send to any other email address, even if it is on your registration form. To log in to your class: You will receive log-in instructions at your UMail account. Online access to your class begins about one week before the first class. |
