This course will be targeted towards professionals working or studying in the field of at-risk-youth services and criminal justice. Professionals in school counseling, school psychology, school social work, mental health counseling and criminal justice will benefit from this training. This course will focus on both understanding and proficiency in the application of Cognitive-Behavioral Theory and Reality Theory. The course will allow students to explore their own comfort level and style when applying these strategies. May be taken for undergraduate or graduate credit. Part of the School Counseling program but open to all.
