Emphasis on project scheduling and planning an actual event including its inception, site selection, contract negotiations, selecting suppliers, obtaining sponsorships, and budgeting. Requirements include planning and programming large-scale special events and conferences as well as developing goals, objectives and evaluation techniques related to these events. Required for BS in HT MGMT. Part of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management online program but open to all.
