Jeffery H. Davis, M.Ed. Management Consultant & Trainer
Jeff is a management consultant and leadership training instructor who specializes in Change Management, Leadership Development, Customer Service Skills & Strategies, Coaching & Teamwork Skill Development, and Meeting Facilitation. Both as a facilitator for the UMass Donahue Institute since 1994 and through his own consulting business, he has successfully aided many non-profit organizations, state agencies, and corporations to better serve their clients. These include: the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation, the Human Service Forum, the Merrimack Valley AIDS Project, the Federal Home Loan Bank – Boston, the Division of Medical Assistance, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Housing & Community Development, Citizens Bank, Fleet Bank, Lo-Jack, Compaq/HP, Nstar, AEGON, MIT Lincoln Labs, and MITRE.
Jeff has written and published six course books through the American Management Association. In 1996 he completed the work, Managing and Achieving Organizational Goals. Another book, Coaching for Top Performance, was released in the fall of 1995. He has authored three other books, each for the AMA’s Essential Business Skills series. They are entitled: Interpersonal Communication Skills for the Workplace (the current Series bestseller); Workplace Reading Efficiency; and an audio-tape course, How to Develop Listening Skills in the Workplace. He recently completed his sixth course book, entitled, Planning & Facilitating Effective Meetings.
Jeff holds a Master of Education degree in Management from Cambridge College. He is a qualified administrator of the following professional assessment instruments: the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode Assessment, the BEST Communication Style Instrument, and the DISC.
