Accredited nationally and internationally at the highest standards by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Isenberg School of Management Online MBA Program at UMass Amherst is a 37-credit program that provides you with the flexibility to pursue your studies completely online, or in a blended, partially residential format at any of our three satellite campus locations in Massachusetts: evenings in Holyoke or Shrewsbury; alternating weekends in Pittsfield. The entire core curriculum is offered online every Spring, Summer, and Fall so you are sure to get the courses when and where you need them.
The Online MBA is rigorous regardless of its flexible format—providing up-to-date knowledge and skills for today's complex business environments. Online and blended options offer the same curriculum and accomplished faculty as full-time, traditional classes - the difference lies in the freedom and convenience that the online and satellite environments offer our students.
Prospective students may enroll in up to 2 courses (typically 6 credits) before formally applying to the program. Students may elect to complete the program in as little as one year or as long as four years. All students entering the MBA Program must have a minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree. Those individuals without an undergraduate degree in business are required to complete undergraduate-level courses in accounting, finance, economics, and management or to enroll in the Foundations of Business course, which is offered exclusively online during the winter and summer semesters.
PROGRAM COSTS: Courses in Holyoke and Pittsfield are $620 per credit. Shrewsbury courses are $680 per credit and Online courses are $750 per credit. Hybrid courses (online and face-to-face) are $700 per credit. In addition to course costs, there is a $45 non-refundable per semester registration fee plus the cost of books.
