Online Green Building
Professional Development Series

Reduce energy consumption and green your credentials.
Courses include:
  • BCT 597D | LLGREEN 101: Sustainable Building and LEED Certification
  • BCT 211 | LLGREEN 107: Energy Efficient Housing
  • BCT 191A | LLGREEN 103: The Built Environment
  • Green Building and Indoor Environmental Quality (currently under development)
  • BCT 397S | LLGREEN 109: Sustainable Sites

Undergraduate credit and continuing education credit options available.

All courses take place online with optional face-to-face field trips to green building sites. One course in the series is offered each semester. Students may complete the series in five semesters.

Credits earned may be applied to a University Without Walls Sustainability Studies Bachelor's Degree completion program.

  • Architects, Engineers, Builders and Building Officials who wish to enhance their knowledge of sustainable building methods and materials.
  • Design and construction professionals who desire a deeper understanding of the environmental impact of construction and ways to mitigate it.
