How to Enroll

The course offers an overview of the major cognitive behavioral theories.  Students will be introduced to the scientific underpinning and basic principles of CBT as they apply to a broad and diverse population including at-risk-youth.  Educators, counselors and mental health professionals will gain knowledge in both the application of CBT including what the latest research reveals about therapy effectiveness.  The course will allow students to explore their comfort level and their style in applying CT strategies.
