How to Enroll

An overview of the ecology related to agricultural production, emphasizing crop production. The course will introduce students to ecological principles related to agricultural ecosystems, and to the ways these principles work in modern industrialized agriculture, in traditional agricultural systems, and in alternative systems such as organic agriculture. Students will learn ways by which ecological principles to determine the sustainability of agroecosystems and used to make them more sustainable. Part of the Sustainable Fod and Farming Associate's Degree and the Sustainable Food and Farming Certificate.
